The Magi

Augustus. House Criamon. Incomprehensible, and fascinated with people's emotions. He is more interested in visual enigmas than written riddles

Callistro. House Merinita. Half-fey and using magic to appear more so. Fascinated by magical and faerie regios.

Roman Haas. Ex Miscellanea. Genial nature mage with his own Dark Secret.

The Companions

Chef Awesome French Chef. Used more as a Covenant asset than played.

Elsa. Petite bard. (Anachronistically) Champions Women's Equality

Enrico. Nearest thing to an autocrat the Covenant has. Portrays himself as a Merchant although his past is murkier

Sir Gerard. Religious Knight. Has now returned from Pilgrimage to news of an inheritance.

Niccolo of Pavia. Our Librarian. University Student who probably would have been incepted Magister in Artibus, if he hadn't fled heresy charges.

Siegfried. Ex Mercenary, new at Covenant. Although treated as a Grog at present his status will change.

The Grogs

Aedric. English Axeman and Ex Varangian Guardsman. Callistro's Shield Grog.

Erwin the Tinker. A greedy local, who is in bad grace after supplying information to the enemy.

Sgt Gerhart. Fearsome and Intimidating. Easily annoyed by insubordination.

Big Johann. Depressive Drunkard. Usually on watch. Fearsome with his War Mattock "Brunhilde" named for his lost love.

Martin. Heretic. Tries to lead an apostolic lifestyle and is regarded as Holy. Has now returned from Pilgrimage.

Matthias. One of Siegfried's band. The effects of old wounds are only kept at bay by Haas' potions.

Petros the Greek. Reliable Shield Grog left after disturbing experiences at another Covenant but has now returned after being caught and tortured by High Valley.

Piebald the Beggar. Weasels and Whines his way around, but never does anything.

Roland. Hunter with blessed senses. Has now returned from Pilgrimage.

Rattner Schmidt. Smith with Poor Memory. Played solely for laughs.

Sebastian. Swift Messenger. Useful when Redcaps often ignore you.

Stephan. Scarred Axeman and Shield Grog. A more decent person than most Grogs.

Wolfgang. Too stupid to be a reliable Shield Grog. Very Strong.

Deceased or Departed

Al-Nasir. House Tremere. A pompous young Arab magus with his own sigil and a Dark Secret - which may have caught up with him. In Summer 1205 a march was declared against him and he has disappeared.

Freidrich von Hahn. House Jerbiton. Accidentally killed by Hans - His Shield Grog.

Hans. Axeman and Shield Grog. Most notorious for killing the magus he was protecting - by accident. Left with Al-Nasir.

Hermann. Insubordinate Archer. Followed Sir Gerard on Pilgrimage but left the group after events on that trip.

Lazlo. Thieving Gypsy. Who is probably burning in Hell - he deserves it.

Wolfgang's brother. A berserk version of Wolfgang. Died very quickly.
